Human Resources Assistant
Compensation Solutions is seeking a Human Resource Assistant for our Wayne office. This position will provide support and assistance to the Human Resource Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process terminated employee files, including but not limited to, copying, filing and following up on missing paperwork.
Contacts former employees via telephone, mail and email.
Maintains employment resumes for former employees.
Prepares files for unemployment and/or disability claims.
Assists with locating and filing personnel files.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and/or seminars.
Assist in the completion of various Human Resources projects, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must possess the ability to be professional, confident, and articulate.
Customer service oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access and the Internet (Excel, a plus)
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Must be able to work with multiple levels of the organization and be flexible to assist with a variety of company projects.
Bilingual a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Screen candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions
Present job opportunities to qualified candidates
Being in constant communication with clients and determining current and future business needs regarding headcount and staffing
Managing all aspects of recruiting relationships with outside vendors.
Sourcing individuals (including, internet and cold calling).
Screening potential applicants by telephone and in person interviewing.
Presenting suitable candidates to hiring managers.
Performing background checks and reference checking on applicants.
Assist in evaluating job skills of all new applicants through software products.
